Zoom Teeth Whitening

Zoom Teeth Whitening

Having a lustrous and sparkling set of teeth is what we all crave for. With several cosmetic dental solutions available, teeth whitening is known to be the most popular one among all. Teeth whitening has long helped enhance the shade of teeth by removing any kind of teeth discoloration. Modern methods of teeth whitening use advanced technology to whiten teeth with the help of Zoom!

What is Zoom?

Zoom is a new-age teeth whitening or bleaching process that improves the tone of badly discolored teeth. It is an in-office procedure that uses Zoom Advanced Power Chairside Lamp that helps activate the Hydrogen Peroxide molecules of the whitening gel. Upon breakage of the peroxide molecules, the Oxygen molecules would absorb into the enamel and brighten its discolored parts.

What is the procedure involved in Zoom teeth whitening?

Before beginning the procedure for Zoom, the dentist would conduct an examination of your gums and teeth to ensure if they are healthy and the patient would benefit from zoom whitening. The procedure for Zoom teeth whitening doesn't take more than an hour. Teeth would be prepared before beginning the procedure by covering the lips and gums. The hydrogen peroxide whitening gel would be applied on the surface of teeth and flashed with laser light. The gel would be allowed to settle for 15 minutes with the activated laser light and would be washed off later. The procedure is meant to lighten the shade of your enamel eight times more than a conventional teeth whitening procedure.

Maintaining Your White Smile

Post your zoom teeth whitening procedure, the dentist would provide you with a home-use kit and would include custom-made teeth whitening trays. Zoom teeth whitening is meant to produce a lasting impact on your teeth by giving you the desired luster and shine for your smile. In order to maintain the whitening effect from your teeth whitening procedure, it is equally important to avoid certain foods and beverages that may contribute to staining of teeth. This includes coffee, tea, aerated drinks, wine, etc. Avoiding the usage of tobacco is also strongly recommended. Your dentist may also advise on certain toothpaste that not only contains good amounts of fluoride but also teeth whitening agents to maintain the results of the procedure.
